Questions
NRI clients most often ask
Do I need to travel to India for my case?+
In most matters, no. A properly executed and attested power of attorney allows us to file, appear and argue on your behalf. Personal appearance is required only where a court specifically directs it.
How do I execute a power of attorney from abroad?+
We draft the power of attorney to suit your matter and send it for signature before the Indian Consulate or a notary in your country of residence, followed by apostille or consular attestation and adjudication in India.
Can you help recover property under illegal occupation?+
Yes. We verify title and revenue records, issue notice, and pursue eviction, injunction and possession proceedings, along with criminal complaints where forgery or trespass is involved.
How will I receive updates on my case?+
You receive a written report after each hearing along with scanned filings and orders, plus scheduled video calls at a time convenient to your zone.
